Lap 31 — YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: The competition caution is out. NASCAR wants teams to examine tire wear due to an overnight shower that washed rubber off the track.
Lap 29 — LEAD CHANGE: Reed Sorenson takes the lead in a three-wide battle for the top spot. Sorenson shot below David Reutimann, and Greg Biffle went below Sorenson. Biffle held the spot on the backstretch, but Sorenson made the pass.
Lap 27 — After leading early, Juan Montoya has fallen back to 11th position and is struggling with the car’s handle.
Lap 24 — Reed Sorenson has closed to within a car-length of leader David Reutimann.
Lap 20 — Greg Biffle is on the move and up to third position after passing Kyle Busch. He started fifth and dropped to ninth before making his move.
Lap 13 — Kasey Kahne had dropped to eighth position, getting passed by Carl Edwards. Kahne started the race in second position.
Lap 11 — Reed Sorenson is strong early, hanging in second position behind leader David Reutimann.
Lap 6 — LEAD CHANGE: David Reutimann goes back around Juan Montoya to take the lead back.
