I sure hope that the Stanley Cup final between Detroit and Pittsburgh is more interesting than these semi-finals have been. The ratings for these must be truly awlful.

i heard a stat today on who the top 5 scorers in NHL playoff history are and i was very surprised. it’s kinda scary.

It is nice that Bettman and the NHL allow Cindy to be untouchable by any other defenseman. Breathe on him or Malkin and its a penalty

The Hurricanes looked wore out after game 1.
2 previous(7 game)series and not enough bench depth took their toll and made them look slow, at least in the bits and pieces of games 2 and 3 that I watched.
Great run however for the Canes
The Penguins are peaking at the right time....Red Wings hopefully will have all/most of their players back from injury...that should make for a hell of a good rematch.
....that is assuming they(wings)get there...(ain't over till it's over)
The Hawks are a fast/young team...and from what I've seen...they don't quit.
BTW, I don't care what anyone says, the Stanley Cup is the hardest trophy to win in professional sports.

It'll be an interesting Final. Lidstrom and Datsyuk, and probably Draper, are really just resting up. Perfect timing for the Wings.
Yes, Chicago is an up-and-coming powerhouse, but they're like the Pens were last year; a little too green and a little too anxious. They overplayed into the hands of the Wings. The Pens learned last year and will be more prepared this year.
I predict it'll go all 7 games. Too close to predict as the Wings are just too explosive of a team and love to take the wind out of the opposing team's sails by scoring on them while short-handed and right after being scored on while the other team is still celebrating.
