VERY SAD. I am so very sorry for the Tyson family.
Today my friend’s little daughter (8) was playing on a treadmill. They had not heard this story. The little girl fell and had to be rushed to the ER — her foot was split open down to the bone. She needed 8 stitches and 15 shots. She texted me photos; the wound is GHASTLY. The doctor told my friend how lucky she is and related the Exodus Tyson story.
I am thinking treadmills should be made off limits to kids in your homes. My son was also injured from falling while playing running on one at 11 - he fell onto the fast-moving treadmill and skinned his knee quite deeply.
