You know..., I’ve got some relatives that actually watch some of the raunchiest shows around (at least that’s what I think).
On the other hand, some movies or shows can and will show violent or despicable things, but they are not expressed in such a way as to glorify those things and/or excuse them, either. And I can watch some of those, as they recognize evil but don’t condone it or excuse it or say, “we’re just human” and so on...
At any rate, I wasn’t trying to say that you were into watching those kinds of shows... :-)
I think you know me pretty well, but for the sake
of the thread I wanted to answer you. Like you,
we’re pretty good at filtering, but I can’t watch
violence or torture even if it’s framed well and
not gratuitous.
