The U-Va. grad and Georgetown-trained pediatrician told us she was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago with MS, an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system for which researchers are also seeking stem-cell therapies.
Turner appears healthy in the television ads. “I have very mild symptoms,” she said, adding that she was lucky to have her illness detected and treated early. “But of course this is a progressive disease. I don’t know what the future holds. I’m doing everything I can to remain healthy and happy.”
Steele has said he supports the use of adult stem cells but opposes any research that destroys human embryos. He also supports embryonic research that extracts cells without destroying embryos, though many researchers say that remains impractical. Turner, though, says she has high hopes for adult stem-cell research

Children love to climb and they can hang themselves in a piece of clothing. Parents have to be vigilent but there is no way to be raise children in complete safety. It helps to be lucky.
Ummmm.....IDK.....Maybe, years of boxing = multiple blows to the head = cummulative and pretty significant brain injury?

Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter is on life support and in very critical condition after her brother found her hanging Monday morning from a treadmill cord in their Phoenix home, police said.
While the girl’s mother was cleaning in the house, Tyson’s daughter was playing separately in a playroom. The mother found her daughter on a treadmill with her neck on what was described as a cable attached to the treadmill, police said.
His second marriage was to Monica Turner from April 19, 1997 – January 14, 2003. At the time of the divorce filing, Turner worked as a pediatric resident at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC.
She is also the sister of Michael Steele, the former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland and current Republican National Committee Chairman. Turner filed for divorce from Tyson in January 2002, claiming that he committed adultery during their five-year marriage, an act that “has neither been forgiven nor condoned.”
The couple had two children: Rayna (born February 14, 1996) and Amir (August 5, 1997).Tyson has a total of six children, including Mikey Lorna (1990) and Miguel Leon (2002)
