I don’t understand this. Why would ammo be understocked? I understand people buying more, but then why wouldn’t manufacturers, who only stand to make more money, make more?

A couple months back I read the American public had bought 1.5 BILLION rounds since Obie won the nomination and enought small arms to equip several armies, about 7 million. The ammo manufactorers are in a bad position; with the dems in office demand is up but they can't afford to expand if laws change and they can no longer sell to the public...
