I am from Belton, Texas and we have a high school named after him. I read this years ago when I read Ernie’s book. Made me even a little more proud to be from Belton.
There is a Memorial Day service tomorrow at 10:00AM at the VFW in Belton that's named in honor of Captain Waskow.
