If they are type AB-, you might just be right.
I know where Horn Lake is, on the web site about the UFO, they state that it is northeast of Memphis.
They must have had their map upside down.
Thx!
Flarers are much brighter plus they have a steady and faster descent. For the most part, these remained in place until eventually the top right one left the formation and headed to the right. But if you look real close at the one flying to the right, there is a teeny flashing light probably on its tail.
So, as cool as it is, my guess is that those were helicopters too.........
Yeah, we always used to say, "Thank God for Arkansas", so we weren't the worst, but I guess it's Louisiana and West Virginia now. ;o)
Probably the same four helicopters I saw flying in formation over Jackson toward the north that same day.
I don’t remember reading any of the men recanting the story. If he did, the six police officers that saw the event weren’t dreaming. Something got those men IMO, they were too scared and shaky to have been faking it. The USS Shark, a nuclear submarine, was about two miles down river from where they were fishing (They were on the docks of Gulf Cities Fisheries where I inspected shrimp). My Colonel surmised that there were top secret goings on nearby and the men must have been too close. The date was October 11, 1973, I remember it well.
I'd be scared and shaking too if G men dressed in alien costumes approach me in the middle of the night, and in the middle of nowhere, carrying an anal probe. :)
I was a child back when this happened, and remember when the local news reported the stories. I thought they were fishing from a boat and were abducted, or was it a different case?
These men were on the Gulf Cities Fishery dock. A bright light surrounded them and they disappeared for a short while, all within sight of the Pearl River Bridge (about two miles from where the USS Shark was in dry dock)where a couple of patrol cars were sitting watching. The men then were back in sight shortly. The time elapsed was about ten minutes. The deputies went down to the guys and questioned them about what they had seen and then called the USAF at Keesler...that’s when they military took over. I think it was a Saturday night because I was left in the barracks and was the only 908 with a Geiger. After I did my thing they were questioned for hours by a panel of USAF officers. These guys were humble and IMO what they were describing was far above their level of imagination. They were still dressed in their paint stained painters clothes. One had been scared so bad he relieved himself into his pants. To this day I don’t know what to believe, these guys saw something and something really strange happened to them. Col. R.L. Hanson was the Colonel in charge of decontamination and NBC monitoring and with him was CMSGT Brent.
I recently went on a bike ride on Hwy 90 through Pascagoula and back on I-10. I didn't notice if the name of the bridges were Pearl River Bridge. Pearl River is on the Western side of the state. I'm getting confused. )
No, you are right and I am incorrect. It was the Pascagoula River Bridge on HW 90. If you look North East from the center of the bridge you could see the fishery dock. The dock was a great place to fish for catfish because of the discharge of shrimp parts into the water from the fishery that attracted many fish. South of the bridge was the dry dock for the Ingalls Shipyard.
