The kjv,the niv and other translations of the Bible are not historical accuracies of scripture ,thus , anyone who gets theology from them is not living in truth.
Unfortunately, "truth" is what people believe is true. There are those who believe the Koran is divinely dictated scripture. To them it's "real." Whenever we dig into "truth" we find human constructs at the bottom.
It is impossible to separate truth from our personal beliefs. It's like trying to separate genes from environment. They are interlocked and inseparable.
Absolute truth, by definition, is independent of our beliefs. If our beliefs correspond to absolute truth it is by miracle, if not by chance.
