I have not been able to find real TIN foil at any of my stores. Only that inferior aluminum stuff.

I would think so - but with the Faraday cage the foil hat shouldn't even be necessary. My old Physics professor at Pitt may have a spare in his office I can borrow. Pretty cool demonstration piece!

You might even say that a tim foil hat is a poor man's Faraday cage. You pay for what you get.
