I got a call from a telemarketer asking me to listen to a audio clip from newt. I listened to it. After t hat the lady came back on and asked if I would like my name on a petition created by Newt to stop wasteful Gov't spending, drill oil here etc. She went on and said I would get that along with his new book for a 100 dollar donation. I said I can't afford that right now. She went on further to ask if 20 would be ok. I agreed. It was explained I would receive a bumper sticker saying, Drill Here, Drill Now! Here's where it got weird. She verified my home address and then asked where I worked, saying it was some new federal requirement...sure no problem there. After that she then said that due to the urgency and short time remaining she would need my donation to be by credit card. RED FLAG! I explained I don't give that out and if you wanted my donation they would have to mail me something. Just at that time my wife called on the other line and I had to hang up. We'll see if anything comes in the mail. Has anyone else been contacted? Oh, she gave me a website called Americansolutions.com. I breifly looked at it, didn't seem to be about Newt but about energy, taxes etc.

As far as gay marraige this is one subject that I would want to know the future President's opinion on, before I voted for him or her too. I mean we got Obama saying that he does not approve of gay marraige because I guess his moral values are a grade higher, but yet 4000 babies aborted daily is no problem with him!
