[PS - I prefer to to keep my account in the US, so the "First National Bank of Nigeria" is out for the time being. I'll save that for the long term investments!] And wives ... and phenominal cash payouts in return for the use of your bank acount.
I'll have MY 14M illion deposited after the holiday ... she (the loveley Nigerian beauty, promised to be my wife, Ng guckguck ku arala ... ) has assured me.
Y'all invited to our wedding ... open bar.

So far, the other bank sites I have looked at have seem to have the scheduled payments on a different page and do not show what the effect of a particular payment will be on my running balance.
Can't really recommend any bank, but Walgreens carries these calculator-like things that are pretty helpful.

I appreciate that, but I’ve been doing it for years and have not had any problems. I understand that the “https” secutity is the same as the ATM’s.
I love not writing checks to pay bills and then leaving them in the visor of the car because I forget to mail them. It is also convenient to be able to check balances anytime over the ‘net.

Thank you.
Those look like good resources. I had not seen the “money-rates” site before. I hope to find an article comparing the manner in which the various sites work

“My suggestion is not to bank online.”
Why would you say that?
Online banking is infinitely more secure than writing checks. Checks have in addition to your name, the account number as well as the routing number of your account. I haven’t written a check in years.
Online payments are never late because some overworked clerk lost, stole, or misapplied a payment. I also like the fact that Ahmed at the local gas station, can’t share my account info with friends back home in Nigeria.

My bank, Wamu (Chase) does NOT have a scheduled payment section in a convenient location. Every time I want to know what I’ve scheduled, it’s a big pain to search all over the place to find it. So, please let me know what you find out.
