Rule number four is the most useful. Laws could be proposed that take it right to them and go over the top on the things they claim to be in favor of. For instance one argument that is made by the pro choice people is that we own our own bodies and (by extension) the contents/products of it. Well then we should not have an involuntary income tax because any income comes at the sweat of our brow and is a product of our own physical bodies.
If you look deep into laws you can usually find a tiny bit that is useful if you hold them to the letter of their own laws. I did it once and it is a great deal of fun.
That's effectively what they want the rest of us to do, wait at the tender mercies of the criminal element, they should do it first.
