The only thing funnier would be if their last name was “Longstocking”.

A Shopping Channel monster ...
LOL

Funny and a very enterprising toddler. Maybe she planned to
open a construction business. I can’t think of any other
reason why she’d bid on an earth mover instead of a doll?

3 years old?
Up and has access to a computer while the parents sleep.
Methinks they may have bigger issues.
Either that or this cute story is providing cover to refuse completion of the contract.

I bought this one several years ago. I thought I'd use it for some land clearing, then sell it. But now, I would
never part with it.

That should be a dear lesson to everyone to not carelessly leave a computer running when they are not at the keyboard. Also, people get lazy and do not LOG OUT when they leave forums and other log in sites. Thus, I can find your computer unattended and then simply pull up your history and clik on it and I am into your account(s). LOG OUT and SHUT DOWN. The 30 seconds of start up time is a small price to pay for privacy.

I have had several before and sold them. I bought this one for land clearing also. will probably sell it later on also. Did good at the auction, only paid $2100 for it.

I read somewhere that shutting down the computer and restarting it will hurt its innards over time. (Obviously, I'm not computer savvy, so I can't elaborate or use the proper terminology-sorry.)
Anyways is there any truth to that?

I think it will go obsolete technology long before it damages the hardware. What is cheaper, a $100 repair, or a $20,000 digger?

Kinda like folks that got huge phone bills when direct long-distance dialing first went into effect. Kids would pound out numbers on the phone and talk to anyone who might answer.
