OK, riddle me this Batman...
What are a couple of kids doing driving around in Daddy’s Denali at 2:30pm on a school day up to???
I am not defending Ms. Randall in this as they all have not gotten their day in court...I would suggest we give them that till the jury decides the case...
Most people I know would just let the unfriendly driving between both of them go...
And since I recall that when I was 17, there was no way I was going to go off on an adult in this manner, no matter what, or whom I was with a the time...
I believe this kid is indicative of the declining attitude and respect children should be expressing when engaged by an adult...
You can call someone all the names in the world...Once you assault that person in response to this alleged name calling, all bets are off, and the law gets to step in and take care of the problem...
Go ahead and dissagree, I’m sure you’ll still have the idea that ALL elected officials are still scum-bags...Some of whom I would agree with you, but not all are...Regardless of party affiliation, which is no matter in this particular case...
He is so wrong...Not a Pro...politician this tiny 5 98 lb. 40 something woman is a hardware store owner who got tired of the corruption by unscrupulous builders who allegedly were hooked up with the former Mayor. Toni ran for the office for her first time to run for anything to clean up City Hall. Everyone loves Toni! More here...You have not heard her side yet.

No you can’t. Assault and battery actually has two components; Assault is the calling of names and battery is the physical portion. Re-read the article and mentally switch the sexes and the races. Makes a difference, doesn’t it?
Growing up in the fifties and sixties, hitting a girl was not cool. But in those days women also didn’t expect to be on the baseball or football team, nor would they serve in combat in the service.
This kind of confrontation wouldn’t have happened back then. Nobody SHOULD hit another person. In 63 years, I’ve never had to resort to that. But then, I also don’t get in other people’s faces.
The kids today grow up in a totally different environment. Equal is equal. She gets no positive points for being a woman, and he gets no negative ones for being black. IMHO, she’s just as much at fault in this as he is.
As my late mom used to say, it “takes two tango”. From the article, she deliberately provoked him.
