Woo Hoo! The third in the Foreign Enemies series by Matt Bracken (FReeper Travis McGee) just showed up in my mail box. I sent in a check in advance to get an autographed copy! The full title "Foreign Enemies and Traitors, The Greater Depression and Civil War 2" seems very timely!
I see the possible reaction in 3 stages. First: too small to be noticed. Second, “ignore it, don’t give it publicity.” Third, too big to do anything about it.
Ordered a copy 3 days ago. Can’t wait to finish the collection and see how this series ends.
I have read the first two books of the trilogy. It is going to be a week or so before I can get started on FEAT. I am working to get a work project done and it has a June 1 deadline.
They’ll wait until they get the newbie on the court.
They need one more lib before they can rule against an individual right for 2A. I suspect that until then they will spend their time trying to register guns and ammunition sales as well as possible bans on evil black rifles. With one more lib on the Supreme Court I predict that the war against individual liberty and freedom will really escalate.
Is there any way to tell how sales are doing on Amazon?
Amazon plays this information close to the vest. The Amazon ranking does not tell you the number of books sold. A book that is ranked over 100,000 might sell a few books a month. A book ranked over 500,000 is basically dead in the water. From my own info, a ranking around 30,000 means about 50 or so books sold a month, and a ranking around 3,000 means a few hundred a month. You can google around for some articles that try to decode the Amazon rankings, but I think my numbers above are pretty close.
I don’t know whey Amazon still says my new books will ship in 2 to 4 weeks. They have orderd about 100 of them as of a week ago, so I’m sure they have arrived. I’ve sold a total of 700 signed pre-orders, plus Amazon, plust another 400 to other wholesale outlets such as Delta Press.
