I have lived long enough to be skeptical of such hyperbole. I cannot begin to count the number of times scientist have found the missing link only to be proven false. Anyone that believes that scientists are objective observers have never been around any scientists.

This little critter is tiny. The real beauty of the find is the intricacy of the details. It reveals what scientists view as a link between Lemur and Ape. How that qualifies as a link between Ape and Homonid/Human is...well...completely unapparent. Unless, of course, one buys into the ASSUMPTION of a link between Lemurs and Humans. Then, it fits in nicely. Wow! Another missing link! Why are they always 40 to 50 million years old?
