Dolla, a rapper whose real name is Roderick Anthony Burton II, was shot in the head as he and several other people stood near the center's La Cienega Boulevard entrance, according to police, witnesses and Dolla's publicist, Sue Vannasing. A friend of the rapper's who was at the Beverly Center and a Los Angeles Police Department official also confirmed the victim's identity to The Times.
Burton, 21, arrived at LAX from Atlanta earlier in the day and went to the Beverly Center to shop, Vannasing said. After the shooting, Burton was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center a few blocks from the mall, where he died, police said.
The LAPD has not announced a motive for the attack or identified any suspects. Detectives are questioning a woman they detained at the scene and a man who allegedly drove from the mall to LAX in a rented silver Mercedes SUV.
About an hour after the shooting, the LAPD issued a bulletin for a 20-year-old man considered a "person of interest" in the shooting. Los Angeles Airport Police officers spotted a man fitting the description in the ticketing lobby of Terminal 1.

Funny in a real tear jerker story he would have already BEEN WORKING AT A JOB to help support his family. I guess that what people say about 0 supporters isn't true. They're NOT to lazy to steal.
What other cultures and countries would you want to like us? France? Britain? Mexico? Cuba? Syria? Eqypt?I live in a big European city now downtown. I've never felt safer(thanks to my paranoia living near urban centers in the states). Although I've heard England and Paris are pretty bad.
The states is FUBAR, small towns were okay before the meth epidemic hit. Now I can go to any small town away from the coasts and pick out the meth heads by their weight(fat, meth-head, fat, fat, meth-head).
The death of his brother explains the tear. I’m more sympathetic now.

The rap artist community is understandably shaken by the events of the day. This tragedy is unprecedented.

I’m with you. I don’t recognize this country anymore. I just can’t believe the depth of degradation among this scum. They seem to be everywhere. And liberals wonder why law abiding people are arming themselves to the teeth.

Rolling Stone had a cover of that scum with the word “genius.” “Genius” and “artist” are the two most misused words in the English language. Gee, I can’t even watch an NBA game anymore. The vile posturing and ubiquitous tattoos turn me off. This whole gangsta crap is destroying a large segment of our youth. We’re in deep doodoo, no?
