......who clean your own homes.

How do you clean your baseboards? Crawl around with bucket and sponge or is there some other way?

(I'm a "house husband" and am not too good at this. I still don't do windows.)

From one do-all guy to another: yup, get in there and do it by hand. I actually use “cleaning wipes” (not Clorox, they stain), but it still needs a bunch of elbow grease.

Generally, before I mop the floors, we have all tile or wood for allergies, I run the mop for a liner on the baseboards. It cleans them first. Then I mop the rest of the floor.

With work, school, kids, and all the rest of the things the wife does, helping out in the kitchen and the house reaps benefits later, if you know what I mean.

Great for sweeping, too. I'm a single dad, time is important, and this sucker is the key!

Great for blowing the teen daughters dirty laundry into the laundry room. I have to be a little careful so i don't blow the carpet up at the same time, though.

to dust: buy a Swiffer the extending rod one not just the hand one. Place the Swiffer duster thingy on the end of the rod (they both come in the same box) and extend it. Go along base boards quickly and (most importantly so you don't have back and knee repercussions) standing. Swiffer does a nice job of picking up the dust.

or another alternative is a Bona Hardwood floor or floor mop style cleaner. You can get the duster and also it should come with a attachable thingy that you can get wet with their either Hardwood floor cleaner or Stone etc Floor cleaner.

They also have an attachable duster you can buy separately. Dust the molding with it or if you want to clean spray the wettable cover with Bona Hardwood floor cleaner and run along the baseboard. If you dust first you won't leave behind wet dirt on the molding and it will go quicker and look sharper. You should be able to throw both the Bona attachable duster and floor washer in the washer and dryer so that makes it easy.

Or you can just wet a rag with Murphy's (Sprayable-so you don't have to spent the time mixing a solution first.) Wood Cleaner and run along the molding. Hope this helps.

Mr Clean’s Magic Eraser, Walmart has a knockoff brand. Why? It cleans fast with plain water, meaning no soap residue. Soap residue attracts dust and dirt.

Keep your card, I have other duties, like keeping the plumbing working, tuning the vehicles, reloading all the brass from our last range session, etc, and the pay is exceptional.

Which I suspect you get little of.

First of all, there definately is something wrong with being a house husband. Cleaning baseboards while your wife is bringing home the bacon? Seriously? Yeah, that’s not gonna cause any problems in a marriage.
On the other hand, people come in all flavors. For this couple this relationship might just work and traditional roles could well be the screwy option. Hey, it takes all kinds.
Finally...for crying out loud. Give the guy some credit. At least he’s married. To a woman. These days, you really can’t take even that much for granted.

Having said all that...sorry, dude. Hands and knees, scrubber, bucket o’ suds. Unless you’re willing to shell out some cash for some fancy gadgetry just to clean baseboards the tried and true remains tried and true. Thankfully baseboards aren’t something you have to do every day.

But, guy. Don’t ever let her come home from work to find you on your knees scrubbing baseboards. I mean, really. Try to arrange it so’s your chopping firewood or hammering a nail or something, yeah? ;)

Don’t let them get gross in the first place. When you vacuum, run the brush attachment over the top of the baseboard every week, or twice a week, or however often you vacuum. Then once in awhile you can take a damp cloth and quickly wipe them down and there won’t be much badness to wipe up. When it’s time to do a bit more, I spray the baseboards with floor-cleaning solution that’s safe for paint, and wipe.
