"In Paradise there was complete harmony between man and animals; one day again that harmony will be restored and all creation will be made anew.”

This is another direct quote of Martin Luther, again in translation. You seem to be at odds with the entire Biblical concept of restoration. All creation, everything that ever was, made anew and restored to the intended, pre-fall state. Luther clearly wasn't at odds, and neither were many other Protestant notables, such as Calvin, Wesley and Henry, as I've mentioned repeatedly.

Now, would you care to disprove the clear meaning of the two quotes I've kindly provided for you from Luther, as some sort of bizarre and uncharacteristic blurted nonsense, as you've characterized?

Are you sure you're Lutheran? You're rather disparaging of your own denomination.

Martin Luther is not my denomination. The Lutheran Church is based upon the Lutheran Confessions, not Martin Luther. Not everything that Martin Luther said is accepted. Whatever Martin Luther’s thoughts were on dogs with golden tails, it is not part of church dogma or doctrine. You apparently know absolutely nothing about the Lutheran faith.

As I said, Luther said a lot of things. Some of it very good, and some of it not. Luther saying something does not make it true. If Martin Luther actually believed that dogs are in heaven, he was wrong. Such a belief is nothing more than a return to primitive animism in which rocks, trees, and wild animals have spirits.

Having lived near Indian reservations, I am well aware of such pagan beliefs. Animals do not have souls or spirits. When they die, that’s it. There is nothing more.
