It says that it’s waiting for the cabinets to be loaded in the cache and then it’s says that it can’t find that file. I’ve searched the CD-ROM. It’s not on there. It doesn’t mention a specific file.

I had nearly the same situation and talked to someone on Technet and told them I had another cd and could find the file but windows remembered it had come off another disk. I asked if I could use the other Office Disk. They said yes and told me a way to put it in another location or disk and name the directory I made the name that my office wanted.
They said it should work... but I never tried it because it looked like too many steps. So I just wiped out the version on my Hard disk and put a new copy of office on to replace it. So good luck and mail me back and let me know how you solved the problem. Thanks!

(It was ALL about SCOTUS. Most forget about that and HAVE DOOMED us for a generation or more.)
