Our favorite lunch place has something called BLTA. The A being avocado. Not sure where that came from but it is delicious.

The only problem I have with bacon is that while it is yummy, it’s also sooooo salty.

Try a tuna sub with bacon. You’ll never go back.

Subway serves them too.

Avacado! Yummmm!

In the South, some boutique restaurants offer BLGT's - bacon, lettuce and (fried) green tomatoes. Double yummmm!

Now you'll have to excuse me. I have to go buy some bacon!

Try soaking it in warm to hot water first. Although I haven't tried this with bacon, it works well getting salt out of country ham and dried beef.
