The missionaries were just about done with the incorrigible islanders and were rowing back out to their sailship, having "accindentally" left the Good Book behind, hoping the natives would find it and soak up some Godliness.

Suddenly, they noted some islanders were running out to them, over the water. They arrived at the rowboat breathlessly, waving the bible in their hand, wishing to return the book as the missionaries must have forgotten to pack it.

The missionaries simply smiled, thinking the natives really did not need it afterall.
