Maybe. I’m using Sta-Green Moisture Max (or Miracle Gro Moisture Control) soil in the buckets, and in the raised bed for that matter. I’m also spraying with some 3 in 1 stuff from Lowes to guard against insects and disease.
Are you just using plain plastic garden buckets attached to a hanger? I thought about using thos topsy turvey bag-type planters, but they seemed expensive. It seems like a bucket would work as well. What size?
