“Pride and Prejudice” is a clever 19th century romance, but not many 15-year-old boys (in any century) are likely to appreciate the social and psychological subtlety.

I suppose I could get him “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” if he’s assigned any Jane Austen next year!

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is everything Jane Austen should have been. IMHO.

Now, at 15 I adored Rafael Sabatini. Subtle it ain't, but at 15 I wasn't in for subtle. There's no social or personal existential crisis that can't be solved by a rapier through the gullet. En garde!
