Okay, let me back away from sweeping statements for a minute and try to get back on topic. Let’s assume that the moderators had the time and resources to enforce these more restrictive definitions and got rid of all the trolls. How would you then direct Freepers into more constructive activites? Do you have some mechanism for helping organize these Freepers? What would you do to get the Freepers who are keyboard warriors leave their houses and participate in some other way?

One of the stated goals of this site is political activism. However, we lose focus easily when distracted by these ridiculous discussions where we are debating what should be core conservative principles with someone who is either trollish, or is simply a liberal who isn't self-aware enough to realize that. Rather than wasting time debating these people, we could have whole threads discussing plans of action.

I have personally witnessed numerous times when a person or persons will post on a thread "Hey - let's do this or that to combat this left-wing event" only to be repeatedly poo-pooed by a number of posters who counsel that we should all just sit on our fat rear ends and chill out, that doing something will make us look mean, or silly, or stupid etc. I can't imagine how many useful sign-ups that attribute of FR has cost us versus the number of lazy, apathetic or liberal posters that we have now in their place.

Let this be a forum where hardcore conservatives gather to hone talking points (or, more likely, counter talking points), discuss plans of action, and disseminate information. There will be enough disagreement among the conservative on those points alone to keep everyone busy. Let the liberals and RINOs be banned so that they don't waste our time. The time for FR as entertainment has passed. We should be in war mode now.
