Back in my university days I managed my way through a trove of little known Holocaust memoirs when I had free time. One of them was written by one of the handful of survivors of the Treblinka death camp. The author wrote that he had seen Ivan the Terrible dead in the camp during the revolt. It has puzzled me whenever anyone claims that they now have the dead man cornered while still breathing,

It’s the seriousness of the charge, not the accuracy.
