Understanding Obama: The Making of a Fuehrer

I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama after the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident – a wholesome presidential package. It is so instinctive for most people to want to see blacks succeed. It is as if all humanity is carrying a collective guilt for what the ancestors of blacks endured. However, despite my initial interest in him, I was soon put off, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words.

It is surreal to see the level of hysteria in his admirers.

Snip......

I agree with all you say and would add more dismal circumstances - ACORN and others have for years been adding unqualified and fraudulent voters to the rolls. Those phantoms still vote. Now that electronic voting machines have been settled on, machines which can be rigged, with no paper trail, things seem even gloomier.

However, we simply must fight harder or simply give up on our freedom and accept serfdom. If we give up we are screwed. If not, we can gain our country back and save ourselves.

You do as you please but I refuse to give up!

Oh, I’ll never give up. On the other hand, it just doesn’t seem like each one of us can agree with each other to back an “elect able agenda” and person at the POTUS level. There are millions of mindless sheep that are getting something from Obama (from us) - it’s like he’s buying votes already, plus ACORN - we need another Contract with America and a person to sell it - Newt did it in the past, but he’s not popular around here - he’s not a perfect Conservative.

I’ll say this - the same thing will happen in 2012 that happened in 2009 on freerepublic.com - no consensus, all the candidates will be flawed in some way. That scenario will be mirrored in America on the Conservative side and Republicans will lose once again.

Hopefully, local elections will provide more Conservative Republicans in the House and Senate in 2010. That may wake up the troops on the Conservative side to the realities of national office - some compromise will be needed, at least to get elected. That’s what Obama did to win over Hillary. It’s just politics. Now he’s back on his original agenda as we knew he would be as well as those close to him knew he would be, including Soros.

No, you are wrong. We've tried compromise for years. It doesn't work. Conservatives give more and more and liberals never give an inch.

Don't get that line of BS started - I'm not wrong, you are being short sighted - The only President that was close to being Conservative in modern times was Reagan and even he was not 100% Conservative. Those that think that there are 55-60 million Conservatives in this country are mistaken. Sadly, your response to typical here with tons of others to probably follow - that's doesn't change reality as reality has no feeling - it just is, get used to it.

Never! I will not compromise and I don't understand why you insist I do so.
My children are conservatives, most of their friends are conservative. I don't think "compromise" is the answer.

I agree with you again.

The Left infiltrated the church, the Democrat Party, the Republican Party, the universities, the other school systems, and on and on. In each case they pretended to be true blue to the causes they joined. The turmoil in the Catholic Church at the moment is just one example.

I am convinced they have also infiltrated FR and other conservative sites, pretending to be conservatives. I think they help foment these divisions, not that Freepers aren’t capable of self-destruction on their own.

Yet, I agree that is a problem needing to be overcome.

OK, don’t compromise but also don’t expect to have your candidates elected.

I also believe that there are liberals posting here, infiltrators.

On the other hand, even Jim Robinson has rejected all national level conservative lending possible candidates and anyone that points out that that may not be workable, e.g. 100% Conservative is subjected to a s@@t storm of comments calling them a RINO. I’m simply looking for ways to win next time. It’s sort of like Gore and Global Warming - the debate is over in his view.

I’d love to see a no compromise, full speed ahead plan and candidate - it’s doubtful that that will happen in my lifetime.

Don't get that line of BS started

What ethic do I have to give up to get "our guys" elected?
Government payments for abortion on demand? Government taking over businesses?

I refuse to compromise and move to the vaguely describeld "middle".

Trust me, I'm with you 100% - no compromise, but that's in my life, not in politics. Even Reagan was wrong on immigration, he's the touchstone now, but in no way 100% Conservative in action when POTUS. Bush 2 - not even close, but I still liked him versus having Gore or Kerry.

Here's the deal - it's not personal, it's politics.

Everyone, including me, wants a perfect 100% Conservative candidate - 100% in the past, present and almost a guarantee for the future. Not going to happen - it's purely a dream now. Actually, holding out for 100% Conservative credentials - for someone that the masses will like and elect seems like insanity, based on the fact that America has not elected a 100% Conservative POTUS in modern times - Conservatives don't even have a party and, for sure, cannot agree on a candidate.

Actually, I'm on your side - just expressing my dissatisfaction with the 100% crowd around here when the most resent result turned out to be that Obama was elected, YIKES! And, I'll bet that Conservatives will run this whole POTUS cycle into the ditch again in 2012 - ending up with a less than 100% Conservative candidate on the Republican ticket and not supporting that candidate. Let's face it, Conservatives don't run the Republican party. A third party is a lame idea with a split with Republicans giving Democrats a free ride to the White House.

I firmly believe that Conservatives need to go with the Republican party - pushing the party hard right or as far right as possible - backing whoever is nominated by the masses. Secondly, work on local Congress and Senate candidates that can be 100% Conservative and win - locally, even statewide. That will balance out the strange liberal quarks that POTUS's on the Republican side seem to have – the immigration BS is an example – supported by W, voted down by Congress.

It's not personal its business and in this case political business (a nasty business at best). Voting for 99% of what you are all about isn't a personal compromise of ethics, it's accepting reality within the public square. At the end of the day, all each of us can do is live our owns lives in a traditional way and encourage others to do the same.

Have a good weekend.

This is the Obama pathology.

The first time I laid eyes on him my stomach turned. I trust my instincts.

We have our very own Mussolini (Obamalini) in the WH for the forseeable future...there are those claiming that this current little uptick in the economy is the sign that the Chosen One’s plan has worked, I believe this little uptick is only that and the bottom is going to fall next....that to me is the signal that Obama’s plan has worked.

I do not have *White Guilt* IMO...there was enough blood shed over 200 years for blacks. It is never enough. Who ever voted for Obama will one day be too petrified to admit it! He will fail! When he does,it will set the blacks back atleast 30 years. When Blacks realize their black savior does not give rats
A$$ about them, maybe they will swarm on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave screaming
*Wheres Da Money*! I pray they do!

The Illinois senator has no history of service to the country. He has done nothing outstanding except giving promises of change and hyping his audience with hope. It’s only his words, not his achievements that is causing this much uproar.

When cheering for someone turns into adulation, something is wrong. Excessive adulation is indicative of a personality cult. The cult of personality is often created when the general population is discontent.

INDEED.

And the same sort of fatherless ATTACHMENT DISORDERED CHILDHOOD that produced this agent of hell has produced millions of others all set to slavishly suck-up to his lies and destructive emptiness.

. . . perhaps . . . just perhaps . . . until it is THEIR turn at the guillotine.

Some doubt that there will be another
SElection.

Perhaps there will be in 2010.

Even I doubt there will be one in 2012.

The race to Armageddon in these END TIMES IS picking up that fast.
