Exactly. I'm sure unloading a mag of 180gr Golden Sabers into the big cat would of stopped the attacks.

Hell, no dog would stand a chance with a mountain lion.

In California you would be prosecuted for killing a protected species.

PLease people, get a 12 ga. Yes, the 180's would work, IF you could hit it.

As a note, the house cats died for a good cause, they let the home owner know there is a BIG DANGEROUS cat in their neighborhood and their kids can be watched and guarded, Thank you house cats.

These guys take down *African* lions.

A mountain lion wouldn't *even* be half a challenge.

A pack of bear-killing Plott Hounds would eat him for a snack.

Even Portuguese Podengos [fairly small dogs] give wild boars what for.

[The PPs average only about 24 inches tall]

I can think of lots of "primitive" pack hounds who thoroughly would enjoy the opportunity....:)
