The book that Rachel Carson wrote that led to DDT being banned has been proven to have been based on the same type of junk “science” that “supports” the Glow Bull Warming theory.
In fact, I’ll go much, MUCH farther than that. As a kid whose father was stationed at Patrick AFB near Cocoa, FL in the mid-50s, we were subjected to DDT spraying 2 - 3 times per week. I was often (sometimes intentionally) caught outside when the DDT truck went by in the afternoons. The instructions we were given was, when the truck went by, fall to the ground, cover your face and head and don’t breathe for as long as you can.
I’m no longer a kid and have suffered no ill effects as a result. Following the ban on DDT, it is estimated that approximately 100 million humans or more worldwide have died from illnesses spread by mosquitoes such as nalaria, yellow fever and equine fever to name but a few.
But, you asked about raptors. Try looking here: http://www.junkscience.com/ddtfaq.html
