United We Stand

United We Stand, Divided We Fall! Leaders have known the truth behind this famous quote and motto since the beginning of socialized man. So here are some questions for you. Is the United States united? Have our leaders been uniters or dividers? Are you an American? And lastly are you safer? _________Snip_______

So what is an American? An American is a person with strong moral standards. A person concerned with the safety of the Nation. A person who has rights which were based on Natural Law, which the founding fathers defined as those laws given by God. They can stand up on their own two feet and improvise. They are resilient when there is a set back. They are proud of their nation. And most of all they are united when threatened.

If this is the definition of an American, then we have precious few Americans left in this country & none in DC.

We are clearly divided & seem to be falling.

“we have precious few Americans left..”

While I don’t disagree that we are divided, there are still a lot of good and decent people around. I’m just an old blue-collar country boy, but my view is it mostly boils down to America’s declining moral standards. You and I may not agree on everything, but if we have shared values, a sense that there are moral absolutes, we can probably sit down together and work our differences out. The problem we now face is there is a whole segment of our society who believes there are no moral absolutes - anything goes. Until America regains it’s moral bearing - no law, political party or leader can fix us. I know a lot of folks don’t like to hear it, but we need God, He doesn’t need us. Unless America is inhabited by a moral people, even our beloved Constitution will not help us. My cure for America? The best place to start would be on our knees in prayer.—JM
