NEW YORK The Fox network is sticking with its regular schedule over President Barack Obama this week.
The network is turning down the president's request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marks Obama's 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me."
It's the first time a broadcast network has refused Obama's request. This will be the third prime-time news conference in Obama's presidency. ABC, CBS and NBC are airing it.

It will be interesting to see the ratings results.
Well, you've got to do what you can to maintain continuity with the other network programming decisions.
Hehehe.Great show.
(Aren’t ya glad I didn’t say, “eats it up”?)
I love it.
and, I HIGHLY recommend LIE TO ME to all Freepers. It is one of the best new shows on television.
One of my favorite things they do is that when one of the characters points out a specific facial gesture (Disgust, Anger, lying, etc) they show a couple examples — and some of thier favortie targets are Obama, Biden, Bill C, and AlGore. To be fair they also show Bush, Cheney and Rice a lot too, but the Dems seem to be in the majority of faces shown.
pretty soon he’ll be out on the White House balcony showing the people his poop.
LOL
Finally some good news! :)
Finally.
Obama abuses the privilege of television networks. He thinks he is more important than he really is.
Didn't some of the main networks not show Bush's State of the Union Addresses?
Ha ha ha ha ha.........LOL
About time someone told M0bomo to take a hike
LOL.
After all these years, ya still got it, Deb.
You crack me up.
So in other words, all networks are going to be airing “Lie To Me”. That’s just plain funny.
I don’t recall that, but I wouldn’t drop my jaw if it had happened.
May be a subliminal slap at the ONE. If it is, congrats to whoever made that decision. I am really glad to some at least one news outlet, network that is not getting on their knees for this abortion of a president.
Change.
Thank God. I actually thought they were going to screw with American Idol again...this is fine and Lie to Me should thrive in the ratings.
