SOUTH DAKOTA: The state has two suspected cases of swine flu, State Epidemiologist Lon Kightlinger said Monday. Test samples from those two adult patients are being sent to the state health lab in Pierre for testing and should be available Tuesday, Kightlinger said. Suspected Case In Chicago
Doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital are waiting for test results to see if a patient in his 30s has swine flu.
Dr. John Flaherty is the associate chief of infectious diseases at Northwestern University-Feinberg School of Medicine.
“This is somebody that returned from Mexico and essentially got sick on the plane coming back from Mexico and then came right to our hospital.”
WBBM: And when was that?
“That was Saturday.”
Dr. Flaherty says the man is apparently doing all right - and is at home - taking the anti-flu medicine, Tamiflu.
I have no info, but I wouldn’t support it even if I did. Sorry, I’m an animal person, and knowing what they do to sharks to create “shark fin soup”, I wouldn’t support purchasing any product that would result in the cruel deaths of millions more sharks. But hey, that’s just me.

Last week I was watching “Man on fire” which had many shots of the Mexico City slums. What a breeding ground for airborne viruses.

It’s third world minus packed to the gills with little or no sanitary services.
Yes, I think you are correct.
We have noted that fish oil seems to be good overall for the immune system.
We plan to incorporate more fish into our diet and take supplements.
