When the anti war stuff was going full tilt, I couldn’t make it through one show without hearing a slight to America.

Should have said that it wasn’t shots at American cars that I was talking about. It was AMERICA that they’d slight.

Dude, there’s only one seat. Where do the GIRLS sit? I would think most people wouldn’t buy a car like that to ride by themselves in it.

I would hope there is at least a small fridge for champagne. What, is he / she supposed to ride alone and sober? A hidden scotch cabinet?

Looks a bit like a riksha configuration...no doubt there some skinny coolie under the hood (or the mechanical equivalent - a 1.5 liter 3-cylinder diesel, perhaps?).

Anybody who buys one of these copycats is asking for trouble. It’s like wearing a copycat Rolex. The robber is not going to realize it is a copycat.

The owner can get killed for his copycat car as well as the wearer of the phony Rolex can get the hand cut off at the wrist to steal the copycat Rolex.

Not smart at all.

Since it is a copycat, does it use 10 gallons of gas per mile...or is it 1 gallon for every 10 miles?

At least those were the stats for the Rolls a few years ago.

The World has suckled on the teet of cheap, sometimes dangerous tat made in sweatshops in China and other places in the East for decades, can't start whinging about things like this now.

British companies have gone to the wall repeatedly because of this transfer of manufacturing, borne from Political pressure from Socialist inadequates with zero practical skills, thinking they can run the World from behind a computer desk.

Just because it's Rolls Royce, and not 'Joe Bloggs Steel Fabrications' means sweet F.A as far as I'm concerned, this Country is reaping what it's sowed as far as National Product-Pride goes.

Industrialists in Britain have been warning for decades about not buying British, nobody's been listening whilst being distracted by the neo-wealth of their house prices booming, gluttoning on cheap, dangerous, inferior, shortlived junk from overseas.

Since the car clearly is intended for someone with a chauffeur, what kind of tool who can afford a driver skimps on the actual car?

Pray tell, what is "gimballed"?

Inquiring whiskers want to know.

Cheers!

It swivels in two axes so when the boat or riding mower, (Or God help us, Motorcycle) etc. rolls and pitches the drink does not spill.

I find that using a riding mower while guzzling Smithwick's prevents those annoying straight lines one gets by simply driving back and forth. It's more randomized and aesthetic.

Shrug. As good an excuse as any....

Well, I had better not say (Reverant Pause) "Horndean Special Bitter", then! Friends is fine!

ROFL

Where can I get this Horndean?

The three best beers I have ever tasted are (not in order):

1. Smithwick's

2. Kirin Ichiban

3. Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock

Honorable Mention: Mississippi Mud.

Cheers!

As discussed above, unless they’ve registered their marks in China ...

They could try pissing in the wind, it might be more effective.

We would have Patent Meetings, and as always the lawyers would begin asking which countries we wanted to file in. As soon as the PRC was mentioned, the room would erupt in laughter.

Total waste of money.

Even in my stupid little business, I used to get emails from companies there, "Send us sample free,we buy thousands".

They got brief answers. "Suck", etc.

Where can I get this Horndean?

It does not travel well, though they keep talking about exporting it. Throughout the Meon Valley, South of London,to Portsmouth and Southampton.

But it's just as well.

After that, there is not much left to live for.

Like flying an Aerostar, then going back to a C152, or having olympic sex with every hot star, then returning to the monastery, or being a billionaire, then returning to a project.

The important thing is to try to avoid insipid watery things, and otherwise live a clean and Bud-Free life. *sigh*

Search "Horndean Special Bitter", there are reviews around. Not everyone is crazy about it, but the good reviews will move a beer and ale person to tears of lust.

This is the wrong approach by Geely. To dilute a name like Rolls Royce is to dilute the Chinese auto market as well. In the long run, it justs slows Chinese manufacturers of autos from entering into the big leagues.

If Geely wants to makes Rolls, they need to grow the company in competing the Toyota, VW and Fords and THEN BUY Rolls Royce.
