Well, we have very little information to go on. But on most campuses, Business School and engineering professors are among those NOT likely to be zany leftists. I suspect there is something other than politics at work here. A love triangle, I would guess. Probably infatuated with a young co-ed, who rejected him.

I think he killed his wife, who is an attorney and also works with
town and gown theater. Killed another attorney and UGA staffer.
His two young children were there. And they think he is driving
a red jeep liberty renegade. And his wife may be a divorce attorney.
