Secrets of FiDOTUS revealed! Bo is "crazy," a senior White House official divulged yesterday. The newly arrived Portuguese water pup "likes to chew on people's feet" and cause commotions. "Oh, he is a crazy dog," the official confirmed. Uh, wait -- turns out this was all on the record. So we can tell you the canine briefing was delivered by none other than Michelle Obama to a young audience assembled at the White House for the annual Take Your Kids to Work Day, reports our colleague Richard Leiby. The first lady disclosed that Bo made such a racket the night before that she and the president thought someone was lurking outside their bedroom. "It was just Bo. He was playing with his ball."

[They have never had a dog]

Yeah, I was pretty certain of that.

Muslims don’t usually keep dogs and a ‘black’ dog has special significance too.

.

Bo is the only one in the WH you can trust

Recall how soon that Chelsea Clinton was radicalized by her parents

OK, until you posted that, I did not make the connection. What kind of narcissistic person names their dog for their initials. one who spends more time on Rewound Adulation Tours than in the White House;) Didn’t they say it was for a grandfather or something? that's the cover story :)

My little Black Lab has a white spot on her chin and a narrow white stripe down her chest.

But that old pedophile would probably still think she was a devil and should be killed.

Her nickname IS "Devil Dog", but that's neither here nor there. She EARNED it.

No dog is suitable - they are not suitable for dogs. These people never owned a dog before, then suddenly as they get in the WH, it’s a necessity. They didn’t even wait.

Seems to me like the Klintoons (much later), they just knuckled under to put up appearances for the “dog” people in this country.

That is just wrong.

They don't seem to be fooling any dog people.

They would have been better off with a retired racing greyhound -- great couch potatoes and suitable for a life of ease. They could even be let off leash inside the White House grounds without fear of them running away.

Well, given the one daughter’s allergies, I think their options were Portuguese Water Dog (which was what my parents told us we’d get if we ever, by some weird freak incident, happened to get a dog - they all had allergies) or a poodle or ‘designer’ poodle mix... I’d have personally said Labradoodle/Goldendoodle, they’re as friendly and smart and cute as can be and tend to be way more laid-back than labs.

The whole "hypoallergenic dog" thing is much exaggerated.

The problem is not the hair but the dander. All dogs have dander, though some have more and some less. So there's really no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog.

It's a very individual thing. A friend of mine has a daughter who is not allergic to Goldens but turned up very allergic to a mutt with a short double coat (it looked like a Corgi-and-something, maybe Lab).
