You could also use sound canceling/blocking ear muffs. I think Lowes had some blue ones for around $15.00 or so . . . you could use them in stores . . . though You’d need to be watchful for the forklifts in Lowes—though they should have spotters.

I wore them in church last night sitting in the foyer . . . and it was STILL !!!!LOUD!!! and the muffs take out 23db.

Wheeee.

I’ve done that. At the grandkids birthday parties I plug my ears :>} But that don’t help me hear what I need to hear away from those places.
