The ATX form factor is on it’s way out the door, folks. I first made that prediction when I read about the netbooks here on fR. Now these new nettops seem to validate that prediction. No more platter type harddisks. No more optical drives. Pretty soon there won’t be any keyboards or a mouse either. They’ll all be like enlarged i-phones with touch screens that can display a keyboard if you really want one.

Next step: no more flat panel displays...holographic only with eyeball tracking for a pointing device
