I did say “as a rule” in my previous post ;-). People working with venomous snakes professionally are taking a calculated risk. They might not always be as cautious as possible, but that’s different from “Hold my beer and watch this!”
Fortunately for my friend, she’d usually get a strike after the milkings, not before.
