I think it’s more basic than that. Fitness and wealth also tend to go hand in hand. Especially amongst the over 40 crowd, the more money you have the more exercise you’re likely to get, and the less overweight you’re likely to be. You might find beer bellies all over the factory, but you won’t find many of them on the VP floor.

True, also.

I remain very, very fit. Active athlete. But I was more so in my college days.

Now, a successful guy, women at the gym, restaurants, whatever -— 20 + years younger, hit on me. Equivalent girls ever paid much attention to me in my 20s, when I was theoretically better looking, and certainly more age-equivalent.

I have little doubt it has to do with being a regionally well-known wealthy individual.
