I nominate Carrie Prejean for Miss Conservative American 2009. Besides all the other attributes she possesses, for me it is obvious that she has the guts that it takes to hold this title. She could have taken the "politically correct" and easy way out but instead held to her convictions.
Anyone here second that nomination?

Oh no doubt. She by far gave the best and most articulate answer, but the gay gestapo got upset and admittedly graded her low for it. It very likely cost her the crown. I would be really interested to see how close it ended up and if a few major downgrades for the final question changed the result.
Anyone who graded Miss California lower than Miss Arizona had to be dishonest in the grading on the final question, and vote should be dismissed. Miss Arizona had a question about health care and mumbled on and on about integrity, without even touching the topic. Miss Arizona almost beat out Miss Teen South Carolina a few years back.
Nevermind. I read her full statement too. She's beautiful, but with or without the pictures, she's a woman to admire.
