What passes for the Astronomy Picture of the Day is a load of steaming crap by some self loathing left wing fanatic whose desire to destroy himself includes taking everyone around him along for the descent into hell. I offer no apology for repeating it; this is what we’re going to get from that POS in the White House for the next four years.
I bought a copy of Scientific American yesterday because I was off work and wanted something intelligent to read. There was an essay gushing over how Barack Obama is going to use the government to fix the economy, just like all the successful European nations have already done.
Another article discussed how planets lose their atmospheres. The piece was loaded with phrases like “might have,” “could have,” and “may have.” There were one or two facts mixed in to offer some credibility to the stupid, but overall, the story was the kind of speculation appopriate for a 14 year old who’s trying to bs his way through a science report.
That will be the last time I pay for that rag. I could line the cat box with the Palm Beach Post and save myself six bucks. Alas, I will not know when Scientific American runs a story on the merits of vernalization, especially since it is an organic process.
We are in deep trouble.
Yup, I made a mistake of subscribing to that rag last year and after receiving the second issue, canceled my subscription and cited the global warming agenda they push as reason #1.
Excellent rant. This fragment in particular stood out to me:
“self loathing left wing fanatic whose desire to destroy himself includes taking everyone around him along for the descent into hell”
I don’t think I’ve put in quite those terms, but some form of demented self-loathing has to be at the root of the Left’s passion for our impending environmental apocalypse. They’ve thrived on economic crises for generations; global warming gives them a new outlet.
