Either your comment was in jest or your skills at drawing analogies are stunning poor. You cannot compare a gun which is something the owner has complete control over with a dangerous animal which has a mind of its own.

...slick twist on the same false analogy. Firearms owners can always control their firearms. Pit bull owners cannot always control their pit bulls. Most of them don't try, when they can get their cowardly little thrills from letting their pit bulls scare or maul the neighbor kids or old folks. Pit bull worshipers commonly exhibit their delusion of insulation from consequences, but they know that they'll go to prison for shooting the neighbor kids.
