A little man with an unduly high opinion of himself. Boastful talk; braggadocio

Etymology: [Perhaps alteration (influenced by Latin -ōrum, genitive pl. ending) of obsolete Flemish kockeloeren, to crow, of imitative origin.]

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

my bro sent me this article about NUMEC. Hard to believe, as he said, that little old Apollo, PA was the site of weapons grade uranium. we drove past the place every Sunday to get to church. Our parish was St James the Greater, up on the hill in Apollo.
