Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were products of parents trying to live the American Dream under the ever-increasing burden of Democrat-impossed taxes. It started in the ‘60s. Mom and Dad were never home for these two because both had to work. Just to afford taxes.
Under Governor Owens of Colorado, there was a model taxing law in effect. No raising taxes above the level of inflation. This law was acclaimed by other Governors and considered one of the best in the country.
The voters had to approve increased taxes.
BS. I graduated from Columbine when the top marginal income tax rate was 70%, and only my father worked outside the home. Taxes, particularly in Colorado due to TABOR, have decreased since then.
