I saw no need to "defend" the obvious. I might have taken too much for granted in my omission. IMO, the dogs are responding with what is, to them, a natural reaction. Ergo - 'Fight or Flight' - they know to fight.
IMO, similar to humans - some run from the sound of gun shots, some run to it.
