George Washington would have NEVER used profanity, certainly not in public.
The best sign I saw was held by a wheelchair bound lady in Lansing, Michigan. The sign said; “Taxes are Crippling Me!”
I was also kind of proud of my own sign which is my tagline.
My personal fav was: “Pelosi: Stop spending my tax $$$$ on personal travel - USE YOUR BROOM!”
Also in the top five were:
“Why do I feel like a ship passing Somalia?”
“DC PIRATES have hijacked our government”
“The constitution guarantees EQUAL RIGHTS not EQUAL THINGS!”
“George Washington was an ex-military right-wing extremist”
“FEDZILLA!!!!!!! Impeach the beast!”
Another clever one was some beautiful artwork of this huge engorged monstrous pig labeled with Stimulous and Bailouts collapsing the treasury building. A small ant-sized taxpayer was struggling to pull the beast off the treasury building without success.
And then there was the guy with the t-shirt that said:

Signs I saw at two tea parties yesterday that would make great bumper stickers:
“I’m seven years old and ALREADY owe the government $27,000. I’ll vote someday.”
“Next tea party, 2010 — The BIG one.”
“The pirates aren’t in Somalia, they are in D.C.”
“Proud American Capitalist.”
“I’ll keep my money — You keep the CHANGE.”
“Your lack of cents does not make change!”.....
Yeah, but I still say the one with George Washington should have him saying “FUBO” ~~~ which should be the name of the WH dog in residence, instead of just “Bo.”
“Forget the polar bears, save endangered capitalism!”.....
