Thanks for the post. This is just beautiful.

What a joy to hear a beautiful voice of someone who can sing. Such a relief from the drivel of rap and rock. This woman has more talent in her little finger than all the bodies of all the rapsters in the world. I can't wait to hear her first solo album. I will buy it for sure.

The woman has a stunning voice. I am not at all ashamed to admit that her performance on Britain's Got Talent brought a tear to my eye, if only because of the look of wonder on Simon Cowell's face. Her performance of Cry Me A River is even better; soulful, longing, and emotionally mature in a way that reveals the shallowness of most modern artists. God bless her.

I saw this on YouTube earlier today and was completely moved. Bravo for her.

Such a sweet soul with a wonderful talent.
Good for you, Susan.

andy I agree with you. This song is done better than the one she sang last week.
As I understand it, she is planning to sing a different song in her next appearance.
I saw it in one of the newspaper interviews. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks - I would love to hear more. Her appearance brings to mind that of Paul Potts a couple of years ago. I still go back to YouTube and listen to his audition for the same reasons: it is comforting to see how true artistry can move even the most cynical among us and remind them that our culture is capable of so much more than what we have become accustomed to.

She’s better than the voice-over singers for the movie versions of this song!

I think her personal story of sacrifice for her mum is so touching! She has the voice of an angel, a true gift from God.

She is an angel. Of that, there can be little doubt.
