Hey you are the one who chose the words. You want to treat marriage as simply a “business contract” but there is a social contract as well ( particularly if there are children involved)

I didn’t use the term “business contract”. I said marriage is a contract, which it is. It is also a contract between two people, that makes them partners. Doesn’t really matter if the partners are marriage or business partners, if one partner wants out - they will have to divide the partnership assests in order to dissolve the partnership.
