fwiw, H.K. Edgerton (my friend & partner in mischief) & i sang DIXIE, LOUDLY but NOT well, on St Patrick's Day, a few years ago, at Murphy's Irish Bar from the same table where RWR used to sit, when he went there.

we were WILDLY APPLAUDED, believe it or not.(i'm NOT however at all sure that the cheering wasn't because we QUIT singing!!! = rotflmRao!!!)

btw, H.K was in FULL rebel uniform & i was wearing a S&B shirt & my Third National cap.
